Mayacamas Vineyards and Winery

Napa Valley, California

After the 2017 fires in Napa Valley and Sonoma County destroyed an existing, dated residence, the client decided to rebuild a new Estate Hospitality Center, to elevate the guest experience. The new building is located where the house once was, and it opens to the South, to connect the tasting experience to the outdoors and to emphasize the spectacular views from the top of Mount Veeder.

Included in the design are indoor and outdoor seating options, a catering kitchen, a tasting space and a wine cellar. It is covered by a green roof planted with native flowers.
